Over 17 years in counseling and working with PR and communications strategies for unions, associations, government and multinational organizations, with high skills in systemic analysis, critical and lateral thinking and digital transformation for business and economic development.
For over 12 years, he has participated as a member in national councils such as the Colombian Higher Council for the Development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in Colombia and the National Network Council for Entrepreneurship. Also GS1 Organization Logyca board’s member for 13 years (2007-2020) and board member of Fundecomercio.
Juan Ernesto is an Industrial Engineering and Systems and Computing Engineering at the University of Los Andes (Colombia), and expert in Organizational Critical and Systemic Thinking.
The last 15 years, he was the Projects Office Manager and IT advisor for the President at The National Trade Federation of Colombia (FENALCO) and the National Manager for a 360.000 small business support program – FENALTIENDAS. He led client engagements including partner collaboration initiatives both nationally and internationally such as the International FMCG’s group of companies (Pepsico, Coca-Cola, Postobon, Colombina, L’Oreal, BAT, PMI, DIAGEO), various Government entities at the Ministry level and International Cooperation Agencies and Institutions (like USAID and IDB), and side to side team work with other unions, associations and institutions such as ANDI, Chambers of Commerce, Acopi, ASOMOVIL, ASOMEDIOS, GS1, LogYCa, Telefonica and many NGOs, foundations and marketing agencies where, as-cross functional, cross-agency teams he was deeply involved in the pre-launching, planning and execution phases of initiatives for product placement and to help Sustainable Goals.
